This itinerary is a perfect combination of a world-class safari and Indian Ocean relaxation. You begin with 4 nights in the incomparable Sabi Sands, right in the middle of the finest wildlife action in the Kruger. You will have the chance to spot leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, and rhinos, as well as many other wonderful wildlife species. The final 6 nights of your trip will be spent on the island of Mauritius, where beautiful accommodation and phenomenal service meet white sandy beaches and the crystal-clear Indian Ocean.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - 4: Sabi Sands
Day 1 - Johannesburg > Sabi Sands
On arrival into Johannesburg, you will be met at the door of the aircraft and assisted through immigration by our representative. You are then escorted to an exclusive lounge where you wait in comfort ahead of your shuttle flight to the Sabi Sands.
Your shuttle flight swiftly takes you to your Sabi Sands airstrip, where will be met by a lodge representative, and you will enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge. Arriving in time for a late lunch, you will have the chance to rest and prepare for your first full game drive that afternoon.
After marvelling at the Kruger's fantastic wildlife and enjoying a sunset drink overlooking the conservancy, you return for a sumptuous dinner under the stars and your first night in the African bush.
Days 2 to 4 - On safari
A typical day on safari will include an early cup of tea or coffee before your morning game drive, a full, sumptuous breakfast back at the lodge, relaxing by the pool before lunch and then an afternoon safari activity and return to the lodge in time for dinner as night falls.
The early morning drives are brilliant for trying to see the big cats in action and it's fantastic for photographers. The Sabi Sands region is renowned for incredible leopard sightings and has a healthy population of rhinos along with giraffes, lions, elephants and hundreds of other species.
Days 5-10: Mauritius
Day 5 - Sabi Sands > Mauritius
This morning you will enjoy breakfast in the bush and dinner on the beach. After an early breakfast, you are driven to Nelspruit, from where you fly into Johannesburg and transfer onto your international flight to Mauritius.
Upon landing off the four-hour flight to the Indian Ocean island, you will be met by a hotel representative and transferred to your beach paradise, where you will stay for 6 nights on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Half board, full board and inclusive supplements are all available options which can be booked at a supplementary cost.
Days 6 to 10 - Relaxation in Mauritius
With its endless palm-fringed beaches, crystal clear waters and dramatic sunsets, Mauritius truly is a tropical paradise.
For the next five nights, you will have the time to can snorkel on the colourful coral reefs, go horse riding along a stretch of pristine beach, hike one of the trails on Le Morne mountain, trek in lush jungles and discover spectacular waterfalls, explore Black River Gorges National Park, visit Port Louis and see the churches, mosques, and Chinese and Indian temples from the citadel or stroll up Signal Mountain to see the city at sunset.
Day 11: Fly home
Day 11 - Fly home
This morning you will wake up to the glorious beach and can have a final dip in the Indian Ocean before your international flight back home. Mauritius has direct flights to Europe, the Middle East, and back to South Africa.
