It’s the only resort on the beautiful island of Dhidhoofinolhu, providing an off-the-grid experience where you can truly immerse yourself within your beautiful surroundings. After arriving at the international airport in Male, you’ll be welcomed in the LUX* private airport lounge to await your seaplane transfer. You’ll be whisked to the resort in just 30 minutes, taking in your first glimpse of the spellbinding Maldives archipelago from the air. LUX* South Ari Atoll recently reopened in 2016 after undergoing a complete refurbishment, taking the resort to a world-class level. You can stay in stunning overwater villas and pool water villas, stylishly designed with natural materials, featuring private infinity pools and direct ocean access. Couples and honeymooners will adore the romantic stilted villas, with a suspended daybed over the luminous water and a private pool, perfect for a midnight dip beneath the stars. Families are welcomed with multi-bedroom overwater villas and beach villas, a kids' club, and babysitting services. The resort also offers plenty of action, with a 5-star PADI dive center and one of the largest offerings of water sports in the Maldives. Get an adrenaline fix with flyboarding, hoverboarding and jet-surfboarding, or go snorkeling and sink beneath the ocean to discover colorful marine life, including the resident whale sharks.

LUX* South Ari Atoll has 193 water-suspended, thatched-roof villas, fusing chic beach-house design with sophisticated amenities. Perched on stilts above a turquoise lagoon, close to the sugary white shoreline, each villa has a private terrace, outdoor shower and panoramic views across the ocean.
