Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages
Plan My TripOl Pejeta Safari Cottages is your luxury home-away-from-home
Cost Per Night: £ £ £ £
Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages is a small, family-run property tucked away amongst a grove of yellow-barked acacias in the Eastern sector of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy wilderness area. Their collection of spacious, fully inclusive cottages offers flexible living arrangements, which means there’s something perfect for you no matter if you are travelling alone, with a partner or, as they have no age limit, with your family.
The rooms are ensuite, with hot and cold running water, and the space is refreshingly light and open. From the sprawling veranda, you’re guaranteed uninterrupted views across the river to the plains beyond. Each cottage is entirely self-sufficient, with a personal chef included. In good weather, a large open fire is lit on the lawn in front of your cottage, and it makes for a marvellous spot to unwind before dinner after a long day on safari.
As you have a private vehicle and guide included in your stay, game drives are done at your leisure, and wildlife is abundant. The 90,000-acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to established pride of lions, cheetahs, large herds of elephants, black and white rhinos and other plains game.

Ol Pejeta's Positive Impact
Nestled within Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages epitomise sustainability alongside the conservancy's renowned conservation efforts. Guests staying at the cottages directly support conservation, community, and land restoration projects within the conservancy, which heavily relies on tourism funding.
Visitors can engage in low-impact activities supporting local communities, including visits to the Endangered Species Boma, where the last surviving Northern White Rhinos reside, and Jane Goodall's Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The cottages prioritise eco-friendly practices, including carbon emission reduction, waste management, energy efficiency, and minimising water consumption. They also source food locally, employ 80% of staff from surrounding areas, and maintain flourishing on-site gardens.
