Best time to visit County Donegal

The weather is relatively constant throughout the year, with the summer months having warm, sunny weather although not extreme heat. June to August is a beautiful time to discover Ireland's beauty with warm weather although a chance of rain. This the best time for all the outdoor activities on offer, with so many being in County Donegal.

Although the winter months bring cooler temperatures, for those more adventurous to drive winter walks the scenery is just as beautiful and fewer tourists.  Make the most of visiting indoor activities during these months, visiting museums, historical sites, and enjoying local cuisine

The Spring and Autumn months are a great time to visit even though temperatures would be cooler and a chance of rain although there are fewer tourists around.
