Together, you’ll take on the Andes mountain ranges, discover the vibrant streets of Buenos Aires, and sample some of the finest wines in the world, creating special memories that you’ll cherish forever.
You’ll start in lively Buenos Aires, a seductive city where you can learn the sensual tango, indulge in fine food and wine, explore the trendy barrios (neighborhoods), and wander the lush parklands.
Next, you’ll head to Mendoza, the wine capital of Argentina, and one of the sunniest places in the country. You’ll enjoy a winery tour with tastings, cycle through the gorgeous vineyards, or simply lounge in the sun with a glass of wine together.
Venture south to Bariloche in Argentina's beautiful Lake District. You’ll enjoy a gourmet food excursion through the Andes, a kayak across dazzling lakes, and an intimate sailing trip to soak up the spectacular sunset.
Finally, you’ll head to the Pampas, a vast expanse of peaceful farmlands. Here, you can relax on Estancia La Eloisa, an authentic estancia (ranch), where you’ll meet traditional gauchos (cowboys) and relax in the beautiful countryside. Spend your final days roaming the parklands, enjoying horse riding or a romantic carriage ride, or playing a round of golf.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Buenos Aires
Day 1 - Arrival in Buenos Aires
On your arrival at Ezeiza International Airport, you’ll be met by a Wayfairer representative and escorted in your private car to Legado Mítico, your hotel for the next three nights. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of water as you cruise through the ‘Paris of Latin America’, arriving at the center of the city.
Legado Mítico is a boutique hotel dripping in Buenos Aires history and beautifully decorated with legendary figures from Argentina’s history. Located in the trendy Palermo area, you’ll be surrounded by chic bars, restaurants, boutique shops, museums and art galleries.
In the evening, you’ll be welcomed at your hotel with a table of local cheese, cold cuts and sparkling wine to toast your arrival in Argentina.
Day 2 - Exploring Buenos Aires
After breakfast, your private English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel for a half-day city tour of Buenos Aires. Your expert guide will tailor your tour to your personal interests, hitting all the dazzling sites of this intoxicating city.
You’ll walk down Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world, see the beauty of Teatro Colon Opera House, walk around Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada, the famous pink government house, wander the historic Italian-immigrant districts of La Boca and San Telmo where Buenos Aires was born, roam the trendy Puerto Madero district full of stylish cafes and locals, and stroll through the Recoleta neighborhood where Argentinas greatest figures are buried at a vast cemetery. Your tour will end back in pretty Palermo at your hotel.
In the evening, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting and dinner at Casa Coupage. You’ll be greeted by the sommelier of the house with a chilled glass of Torrontés wine, followed by two white wines before dinner, and two red wines with your main dish. You’ll move on to Argentine cheese matched with a late-harvest wine, before finishing with a wine paired with dessert. This indulgent evening allows you to experience how wines express themselves when paired with different flavors, and youll learn about the blends, styles and evolution of wine.
Day 3 - Exploring Buenos Aires
Today is yours to explore this exciting city at your leisure. Roam the streets to discover a myriad of charming cafes, sumptuous restaurants, and historical, cultural and architectural gems.
You may like to experience a thrilling football match with some of the most passionate fans in the world at the Bombonera stadium in La Boca or step into the magical world of the El Ateneo Grand Splendid, a former theatre turned into a grand bookstore, complete with superb coffee and live piano playing from its original stage.
Visit a tango hall to witness the sensual, energetic dance of Argentine culture or hop around the museums and art galleries, including the unique El Caminito, a historical, artist-lined alleyway and colorful street museum.
Days 4 - 6: Mendoza
Day 4 - Transfer to Mendoza
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up by your private driver and transferred to Jorge Newbery Airport for your domestic flight to Mendoza. On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by your private driver and transferred to Posada Verde Oliva, your hotel, for the next three nights.
Posada Verde Oliva is an elegant property set in an olive grove in Coquimbito, 16 km from Mendoza. Built in the 19th century, the hotel has beautiful rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the manicured garden. You’ll be surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, and you can enjoy home-grown wines and olive oil at the hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the garden or swimming pool.
Day 5 - Mendoza Winery Tour
Today you’ll discover Mendoza, the crown jewel of Argentina’s winemaking region. After breakfast, you’ll be met by your private English-speaking guide and driven to the sunny Uco Valley. The valley’s vineyards are the closest to the Andres and set at the highest altitude, and it’s also one of the most beautiful parts of the Mendoza province.
You’ll spend the day learning about the complete vinification process from grape-growing to bottling, and enjoy wine tastings across three gorgeous vineyards, with entrance fees included. You’ll also learn about the fascinating history of the region, including the ingenious irrigation system developed by the Huarpe people over 500 years ago that used meltwater from the snow-capped Andes to transform this once-desert region into a lush oasis.
Day 6 - Exploring Mendoza
Today is a free day to explore Mendoza at your leisure. Known as the wine capital of Argentina and the city of eternal sunshine, Mendoza is the perfect place to indulge in delectable Argentine cuisine. Enjoy a romantic lunch paired with some of the world’s finest wines, while taking in the spectacular views of the Andes.
Go cycling in the sunshine through the vineyards or venture out for kayaking, horse riding or hiking in the mountains. Towering at 6,954m, Mount Aconcagua is the highest peak in the Americas and can be seen from Mendoza. You can take a day trip to the mountain and trek along the spectacular forested trails.
Days 7 - 9: Bariloche
Day 7 - Transfer to Bariloche
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at your hotel by your private driver and transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Bariloche. On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by your private driver and driven to Aldebarán Hotel, your accommodation for the next three nights.
Aldebarán Hotel is a luxurious hotel, set on the slope of a mountain, just 100 meters from the lakeshore. You’ll be located in the heart of Argentina’s stunning Lake District, a region of dazzling blue lakes, charming towns and magnificent mountains.
Spend the evening relaxing in your spacious room with wonderful views of the mountains, take a walk along the sparkling lake, and enjoy a sumptuous meal at the onsite restaurant serving traditional Argentine dishes.
Day 8 - Andes Gourmet Excursion with Kayaking
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up by your private English-speaking guide and transferred to Bahía López to begin your full-day Andes Gourmet Excursion with kayaking. You’ll take a leisurely 30-minute walk into the forest, passing spectacular views over the mountains and lakes, before arriving at the natural balconies at the Brazo Tristeza of Nahuel Huapi Lake.
After a short ascent, you’ll arrive at the Cerro Tronador to marvel at the beauty of its seven glaciers. You’ll have time on your own to explore this stunning wonder, and thrill-seekers have the option to make a 40-meter rappel descent.
You’ll then enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch prepared by your private chef, with soup, bread rolls, crudités, steak, vegetable brochette, wine and desserts of rice pudding, quince and cheese cocktail sticks, and dulce de leche pancakes on the menu.
In the afternoon, you’ll walk back to the starting point to begin your kayaking adventure. After boarding your kayak, you’ll navigate through one of the breathtaking lakes of the area, soaking up the mountain views with your partner.
Day 9 - Exploring Bariloche & Romantic Sunset Sailing
Today is a free day to explore Bariloche at your leisure. You may like to go hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, or get out on the lake with kayaking, rafting, fishing or private sailing trips.
Prepare for an incredible experience this evening, as you’ll be taken to see one of the most romantic sunsets in the world. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the port, where you’ll board a boat and sail between the enchanting islands as the sun begins to set.
The captain will then stop the engine in the calm waters, and pour a glass of wine, allowing you to soak up the tranquil atmosphere and stunning alpine scenery. As the sun dips below the horizon and the dark sky illuminates with stars, toast to this magical moment with your partner.
Days 10 - 13: The Pampas
Day 10 - Transfer to The Pampas
Enjoy a final breakfast at Aldebarán Hotel, before getting picked up by your private driver and transferred to the airport for your domestic flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by your private driver and transferred to the Pampas, a massive expanse of fertile farmlands, extending over Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
You’ll be visiting the iconic estancias of the Argentine Pampas region on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. An estancia is similar to a vast farm or ranch, and you’ll find crops, cattle, traditional houses, horses and local gauchos working the farms.
You’ll stay at Estancia La Eloisa, located near General Las Heras village, 90 km from Buenos Aires city. You’ll be warmly welcomed at the property and offered a glimpse inside traditional Argentine life on the estancias.
Day 11 - Exploring The Pampas
You’ll stay at Estancia La Eloisa for two nights on a full-board basis, and you can spend your time here at your leisure, with all activities included. The estancia is set on 400 sweeping acres, with ten hectares of lush parkland spread around the rooms. The park is perfect for a stroll through the leafy trees, horseback riding, or a romantic carriage ride.
You can take a dip in the swimming pool, have a round on the 9-hole golf course, cycle around the park, or play a range of other sports, including tennis, football, volleyball and croquet. There’s also a games room with a pool table, snooker and board games.
Day 12 - Exploring The Pampas
Spend the day exploring the beautiful estancia. You can get out into the countryside with trekking and birdwatching, or go horse riding through the farmlands. There’s a working dairy farm where you can learn about daily life at the estancia or get involved with agricultural activities.
Horse lovers will love the stables and polo school. Here you’ll find a number of beautiful horses, and the club is registered with the Argentina Polo Association, so you may like to join a game of polo on the weekend or weekdays on request.
Your time here will be peppered with delicious dining experiences. Enjoy the menus of roasts, salads and desserts, and relax with a coffee or wine in the peaceful afternoon sunshine.
Day 13: Depart from Buenos Aires
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up by your private driver and transferred to the Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires for your return flight home.
After two whirlwind weeks spent exploring Argentina’s lively cities, colorful culture, astounding scenery, natural treasures, fine wineries and romantic retreats, you’ll be leaving with a stream of travel stories, funny anecdotes and intimate shared memories - the perfect start to your marriage, the adventure of a lifetime.
