Days 1-5: London

Day 1 - Arrive in London

Upon arrival into the vibrant capital city of England, you are welcomed with a smile by a Wayfairer representative and swiftly transferred to your first hotel, where a taste of classic English opulence awaits you.

A 45 minute drive transports you around the varied streets of London, towards Kensington, an area of the city renowned for its regal heritage and elegant streets lined with townhouses. The doorman at the Milestone Hotel & Residences invites you through wooden double-doors, where sleek spaces which merge classic and modern styles immediately put you at ease. Prepare for a night defined by comfort.

Day 2 - London's Royal West

​Today, a quintessential luxury London tour will guide you around its “Royal West". The tour begins at the majestic Marble Arch, followed by Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park, a hub for lively public debate. Glide down Park Lane into Mayfair, where luxury defines the lifestyle of London’s elite.

Next, you'll see the Royal Albert Hall, famous for the Proms, and the nearby Albert Memorial, Queen Victoria’s tribute to Prince Albert. Day 3 - Notting Hill & Royal Kensington Tour

​Today invites you into another glorious sector of this world-famous capital city, with a tour of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. An introductory stroll toward Portobello Road brings you to the area’s famed antique markets, where a cornucopia of second-hand treasures glisten with memories.

Next, walk to Notting Hill, an area immortalised by the film of the same name, its pleasant streets and colourfully-painted houses ringing with the same joy brought by its annual carnival. Continue to the upscale Holland Park district, its park homing the gorgeous, Japanese-inspired Kyoto Garden and Fukushima Garden.

Continue to Kensington Gardens, which surrounds the residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kensington Palace. These well-landscapes gardens are especially stunning during a spring or summer’s day, leading you towards the Round Pond, the Peter Pan Statue, and the beautiful Italian Gardens.

Day 4 - A Cultural Patchwork in London

Begin at the East London Blind Beggar Pub, infamous for the Kray twins, then explore sites like the Carpenters Arms and Hanbury Street, linked to the Krays and Jack The Ripper.

Wander down Brick Lane to experience the blend of Jewish and Bangladeshi culture, visiting the historic Jewish Soup Kitchen and Bevis Marks Synagogue. Discover Cockney roots at Petticoat Lane market before taking the tube from Liverpool Street to Kings Cross to see Virginia Woolf’s homes and the iconic Admiral Duncan pub, both pivotal to London’s LGBT history.

Enjoy lunch in lively Chinatown while exploring Chinese culture, then head to Brixton for an afternoon Caribbean tour, visiting the Windrush Memorial, Electric Avenue, and Brixton Market.

Day 5 - Leisure in London & Transfer to Edinburgh

Following a final delicious breakfast at the Milestone Hotel, you are free to enjoy London at leisure. A city so diverse and sprawling may draw you in a variety of directions – follow your heart!

This evening, it is time to wave goodbye to London, as you board the Caledonian Sleeper to journey northward to the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh, from London Euston.

Day 7 - Cairngorms Highland Safari

Day 8 - Royal Lochnager Distillery & Balmoral Castle Tour

A cosy sleep in your luxury Scotland hotel prepares you for today’s tantalizing Scottish whisky tour, taking place in the warehouse at the Royal Lochnager Distillery, a gem located near Balmoral Castle in Royal Deeside. This iconic distillery dates back to 1845, a true relic of Scotland’s whisky timeline which holds a Royal Warrant following a visit from Prince Albert in 1848.

Today’s journey begins with a four-whisky tutored tasting, set in the warehouse, where expert local guides will introduce you to their favourite casks, each of which is embellished with a fascinating story. This evening you are invited for a tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia. The tour begins with an extravagant entrance through the Royal Brow (previously reserved for the Royal Family) and a rundown of the yacht’s intriguing history. Explore the yacht’s quarters, its opulent State Apartments and even the engine room. And, the cherry-on-top to all this is of course, champagne!
