Journey further into the polar wilderness, where few travellers ever venture, on this fearless voyage into the Antarctic Circle. With a specialist ship strengthened for the ice found in the world’s southernmost waters, you’ll cross over into the Antarctic Circle and be rewarded by some of our planet’s most remote and beautiful landscapes.
Your Antarctic Circle Cruise starts in Ushuaia, Argentina, where you’ll board your cruise ship to meet the crew, your fellow passengers, and the expedition team, comprised of excursion leaders and specialists, such as historians, marine biologists and naturalists. Throughout the trip, this team will provide you with information about the Antarctic region and answer questions you may have during the journey.
After crossing the Drake Passage, you’ll reach the South Shetland Islands, stopping off to explore the islets along the way. Then, you’ll reach the Antarctic Peninsula and enjoy twice-daily excursions to various sites on the mainland, taking your first steps on the remote continent. Finally, you’ll sail along the peninsula’s west coast to reach the Antarctic Circle, where few tourists ever visit.
Your 12 nights spent aboard the ship will be spent in either a cabin or suite, depending on your preference. Full board is provided, as well as talks and lectures by the team, daily activities and excursions.

Day 1 - Ushuaia
Day 1 - Arrival in Ushuaia
You’ll arrive in Ushuaia, Argentina, the day before you’re due to embark on your Antarctic cruise, giving you plenty of time to explore the world’s most southerly city. You’ll take a private transfer to your hotel, and the welcome desk in the lobby will provide you with more information on your expedition.
Explore the town, grab a lunch of freshly caught seafood dishes or take an optional excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you can take the End of the World train, visit Lago Roca and Bahia Lapataia.

Trip Itinerary
DAYS 1-3: MASAI MARA
Day 1 - Transfer in Nairobi & fly to Masai Mara
We offer a ‘meet and greet’ airport service on all our luxury Kenya holidays. A representative will greet you as soon you disembark from your international flight, escorting you through immigration, customs and baggage collection. Your representative will remain with you until you meet your driver in the arrivals area. Your driver will then transfer you to Wilson Airport (domestic airport) where you’ll board a light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara.
Upon your arrival in the Masai Mara, you will be met by a representative and driven to Saruni Wild, which is the luxury safari camp where you will spend the next three nights on safari. Saruni Wild is a private, intimate camp which has just three tents, it is located in the private Lemek Conservancy bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve, enjoy delicious meals, cool drinks and open fires overlooking the Mara plains.
Days 2 & 3 - On safari in the Masai Mara
Enjoy two full days on safari in the phenomenal Masai Mara. One of the most iconic wildlife regions in all of Africa, you'll have excellent opportunities to spot the some of Africa's most notable species such as lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs and many more.
You can enjoy shared game drives and nature walks as standard safari activities. Saruni Wild also offers night game drives, where you can search for elusive nocturnal animals such as genets, servals and aardvarks. We can also arrange for a stunning hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara, or book private use of safari vehicles. DAYS 4-7: WATAMU
Day 4 - Fly from Masai Mara to the Coast
oday you will have your morning game drive and lunch before being driven to the airstrip in time for your light aircraft flight to the coast. On arrival in Mombasa, you will be met by a representative and driven north to Kobe Suite Resort from where you will relax and explore Garoda Beach, Watamu Marine Reserve and Watamu town and surrounds for the next four nights on a bed and breakfast basis in a garden suite.
Days 5 - 7: Relax, explore & enjoy Watamu
Relax and enjoy your first full day at Kobe Suite Resort in Watamu. Lounge on the pristine white sands on your tranquil and secluded stretch of beach, and take a dip in the crystal clear waters.
Kobe can arrange excursions for you to the beach and beyond, such as diving, snorkelling, dhow boat trips and kite surfing. On land you may enjoy a visit to the historic Gede ruins, Arabuko Sokoko Forest, an amble up Mida creek in a dugout canoe or bird watching from the quirky Crab Shack which hovers over the water and is accessed by a boardwalk.
You can also indulge in a massage or a range of sumptuous beauty treatments at the onsite spa.
DAY 8: DEPART FROM WATAMU
Day 8 - Depart from Watamu
You'll be driven to the near by Malindi Airport to meet your flight to Nairobi Wilson and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
