Delhi is a treasure trove of history, architectural marvels, and culinary delights. Steeped in a rich past that dates back centuries, Delhi boasts a wealth of iconic landmarks; from the Red Fort to the magnificent Qutub Minar, the city is a testament to India’s grandeur. Immerse yourself in the spiritual aura of the Jama Masjib, explore the serene gardens of Humayun’s Tomb, or bask in the regal splendour of Rashtrapati Bhavan, the residence of the president.

Beyond its historical sites, Delhi offers a wide range of modern indulgences. Luxury abounds in the city’s upscale hotels, known for their service and opulence, to the exquisite culinary experiences, blending traditional flavours with culinary flair. Delhi's culinary scene is a gastronomic delight. From street food stalls serving tantalizing chaats and kebabs to Michelin-starred restaurants offering innovative Indian cuisine, the city is a haven for food enthusiasts. Embark on a culinary journey, sampling the flavours of Delhi's diverse regional cuisines and relishing the perfect blend of spices that define Indian gastronomy.

Delhi is not only a city of contrasts but also a gateway to the enchanting northern regions of India. From here, you can embark on unforgettable excursions to the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra or the majestic forts and palaces of Rajasthan. Experience the exhilaration of a tiger safari in Ranthambore National Park or delve into the spiritual realm of Varanasi, where ancient rituals and sacred ghats line the holy Ganges River.

Whether you seek cultural exploration, culinary delights, or luxurious retreats, Delhi promises an unforgettable journey, where ancient traditions and modern elegance come together.

When to go to Delhi

The best time to visit Delhi is during the winter months, from October to March, during which the weather is relatively mild, with average temperatures ranging from 15 to 25 degrees.

The summer months, from March to May, can be extremely hot and humid, with temperatures often soaring above 40°C , making outdoor activities not as enjoyable. The monsoon season, from June to September, travellers can expect moderate to heavy rainfall, which can disrupt travel plans.

October, the post-monsoon month, can also be a good time to visit as the city starts to cool down, although you can expect some rain. For those interested in combining a trip to Chennai with wildlife tours, the winter season is particularly ideal for visiting nearby wildlife sanctuaries and national parks in Tamil Nadu.
